My role at tonies
I joined tonies when the Toniebox 2 and Tonieplay were still under wraps. Currently I am working on yet unreleased titles.
In addition to designing new titles I am responsible for ensuring a shared design framework is used across the teams.

Working with global IPs
As tonies has always worked closely with licensed content, this is an approach we continued with Tonieplay. Working with the world's biggest IPs is both a challenge as well as it is a privilege.
It is an interesting design challenge to align the licensors' constraints with our own, while ensuring that the games are still the best possible games for our players. For this I am involved early on in our alignments with the licensors.

Constraints and audio first
As the Toniebox is famous for being a screen-free experience, our games have to work the same way. Working with the constraints of the controller we developed and focusing on audio is an incredible learning journey. Every Tonieplay game feels like a challenge you usually only get from specific game jams and I grow as a Game Designer because of it.
