„67 times 67" is a digital toy that creates complex behaviour from simple base rules. Users can create exciting visual experiences through playful interaction.
The rules of "67 times 67" are simple. Pixels in a grid can be colored in one of four colors. Each color represents one of the four directions up, right, down and left. The grid is set to pause on start. Upon starting the grid each colored pixel moves in its corresponding direction. Moving into each other pixels get destroyed and leave behind a white colored pixel that stops all pixels trying to move into it. The grid wraps around itself (like in Snake). These rules can create exciting visuals through experimenting with the behaviour of the grid.
How colored pixels are going to behave is hard to predict. This results in unpredictable patterns and fascinating visual effects.
